Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury here on Sunday said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had worked for women’s rights and their economic empowerment.
“After the independence, Bangabandhu gifted a constitution to the nation through which he established the women’s rights and their economic empowerment,” she told a seminar titled ‘Bangabandhu for Women’s Development’ held at Jatiya Press Club (JPC).
