‘Bangabandhu establishes rule of Bangalis’

State Minister for Culture KM Khalid, MP has said Bangladesh has become independent on account of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The state minister was speaking as chief guest at the biennial conference of Awami League, ward 1 of Daogaon union in Muktagachha upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday.
He said, Bengali rule was first established by the Bengalis through this great leader. He has worked tirelessly to take that country and nation forward as he has given an independent country. Bangabandhu has always stood by the exploited and deprived people.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also working relentlessly to take the country forward in development continuity by realizing Bangabandhu’s dream. But it is unfortunate for the nation that a reactionary clique is carrying out various conspiracies to push the country backwards.
The minister said, we have to work to keep the progress of the country going.
Ward Awami League president Shafiqul Islam, among others, spoke in the presidency of the acting chairman of Muktagachha Upazila Parishad and the convener of the city Awami League Arab Ali, Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Helal Uddin Sarkar,
Environment Secretary Mosaddek Master, Upazila Awami League leader Sanjib Maiti, Mofazzal Hossain Lebu, UPChairman and Union Awami League President Majnu Sarkar, Union Awami League General Secretary Ikhtiyar Uddin Mamun, Awami League leader Khoshmahmud, Jamal Uddin Badsha and others. Later, the leader of the ward Awami League was elected through direct voting.
