A meeting of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee was held on Thursday at the International Mother Language Institute in the city.
The committee dwelt on the issues related to the media and promotion of various programmes undertaken for the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh.
With National Professor Mohammad Rafiqul Islam in the chair, the meeting was attended by Chief Coordinator of Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, it added.
Among others, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Information Md Nurul Karim, the Chief Information Officer of the Information Department Surath Kumar Sarkar and Bangladesh Television Director General SM Haroon-or-Rashid were present at the meeting.
