In December last year, talented band singer SI Sumon came into limelight to cover Miles band’s milestone song, Neela. Basically he is famous for rendering English songs in the stage performance.
This time he has presented with a different types of song for the music-lovers.
During coronavirus pandemic not only Bangladesh but also the world is facing tough time. During this time everybody tries to stand from his/her level best position. Sumon does not avoid the matter.
Under his initiative a prayer song to Allah has been made. Title of the song is: Save Our World. Helal Chowdhury wrote lyric of the song while SI Sumon has composed its music.
From Sweden Torstone, from Canada Chandan Jamal Ali, from London Tarjian, from USA Sohana Monsur, Mamnur Sumon Rahman and Jenny, and from Bangladesh Ali Sumon of Pentagon band, SI Sumon of Ark band and Lumin of Feedback, Masha and Pinky Ghagra lent their vocals for the song. Piano was played by Romel Ali and mouthorgan was played by Steve Cooper from USA for the song.
While talking about the song Sumon said, “During pandemic we are passing critical times. We, some musicians, tried to do something. There is no other option for us to give something. It is our prayer song to Allah. The song has been released on YouTube channel recently. The song has been rendered in English language because the people of the world can get our message. Everybody sent video recording from their homes. During corona I have stopped stage shows.”
