The official trailer of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming historical romance film Bajirao Mastani, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will release alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Friday.
Bajirao Mastani reunites Bhansali with his Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela actors Ranveer and Deepika.
Excited about the months before release of the trailer, Priyanka, who turns 33 on Saturday, took to the micro-blogging site to share the news. “So exciting! Best present ever! #BajiraoMastani trailer releasing on my bday weekend!!! Yay! Can’t wait to share with you all! Thank u SLB,” she wrote.
The trailer of the film will be released on digital platform on Wednesday ahead of its theatrical release alongside Kabir Khan’s directorial Bajrangi Bhaijaan on July 17.
Bajirao Mastani is based on the love story between 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I (Ranveer Singh) and his second wife Mastani (Deepika). Priyanka plays Kashibai, the first wife of Peshwa Bajirao.
