A discussion meeting on importance and significance of Holy Ramzan as arranged by the Bangladesh Homeopathic Parishad , chittagong unit was held at Science Parishad Bhaban in city on Friday with its President Dr.Debratha Bhattachariya in the chair.
President of the central committee of the Parishad Principal Dr. Abdul Karim graced the occasion as chief guest.Secretary General of the central committee of BAHOP Dr. Anjan Kumar Das, Prof Dr.Abul Kalam Azad, Dr. Abdur Rahman, Dr. SM Saleh Jahangir, Dr.Sadhan Chandra Paul, Dr. Enamul Hoque Enam, Dr. SM Rabiul Hossain, Dr.Sakina Akhtar, Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Dr. Md. Mohsin, Dr.Maulana Anowar shah attended the meeting as special guests. Dr. Md. Iftikharuddin chowdhury presented the keynote paper in the discussions.
The chief guest in his deliverations said Holy Ramzan month is the training course for muslims for achieving the blessings of the Almighty Allah which creates humanity among the creations through their devotions. He emphasized the importance and significance of the holy month.
The special guests also delivered their valuable speeches before the discussions.
The speakers in the discussions mentioned that some unscrupulous businessmen impose additional prices on commodities during Ramzan and they requested the traders not to hike the commodity prices during the period, a BAHOP release said.
