Bagerhat Chamber founder president dies

Shaikh Md. Delwar Hossain, founder President of Bagerhat Chamber of Commerce and Industries, a Rotarian, a member of SANAC (Sachetan Nagarik Committee), Bagerhat run by TIB (Transparency International Bangladesh) and a social worker breathed his last in his local Amlapara residence in Bagerhat district town on Thursday in the early morning (at 6-30 am) due to old age complications. He was 76. He left behind wife, 2 sons (one is an MBBS doctor and the other is a teacher of Khulna University) and a host of grand children, relatives, friends and admirers to mourn his death. He was honest, pious, generous and well behaved all through his life. Bagerhat Chamber of Commerce & Industries and Bagerhat district unit of BMA (Bangladesh Medical Association) condoled his death.
His first Namaj-e-janaja was held in the local Swadhinata Udyan after Zohor prayer. He was laid to eternal rest in his family graveyard at the village Gopalpur under Kachua Upazila of the district after offering the 2nd Janaja there on the same day.
