This year Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has devised an elaborate tree plantation programme, like every year, in line with the “National Tree Plantation Programme-2019”.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operation) Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, BBP, OSP, ndc, acsc, psc inaugurated the “BAF Tree Plantation Programme-2019” by planting a sapling on the Air Headquarters premises in the city on Thursday.
Principal Staff Officers of Air Headquarters, Assistant Chief of Air Staff Admin & Assistant Chief of Air Staff Maintenance participated in the programme by planting different saplings.
Among others Directors and senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters were also present during the inauguration programme. All BAF Bases and units are also observing the similar programme and this includes planting of herbal, fruit bearing, shade giving and other varieties of saplings having timber value.
