Election of Bangladesh Dental Society 2015 was held at Eye Science Institute in the city’s Agargaon area recently.
For the first time Lux superstar, popular TV actress and model Dr Azmeri Haque Badhon contested in the port of Assistant Cultural and Entertainment Secretary in the BDS election. She has been elected for the post. Dr Anirban Saha was her competitor in the post.
According to BDS, there are 8032 dentists across the country. Among them, 2268 voters cast their votes. Badhon got 237 more votes that Dr Anirban and has been elected.
While sharing her feelings Badhon said, “I was really confident to win in the election. I am grateful to them who cast their votes to me. Now I shall try to ensure job facilities for the dentists and try to improve their salaries. Within very short days I will take my responsibility.”
Meanwhile, Badhon is regularly acting at present. Her acted a serial Dolchhut Projapoti is being aired on NTV now.
Therefore, under Ruman Runi’s direction she has acted in a short play of a pharmaceutical company recently. In last Eid, Badhon acted more than 12 plays were broadcasted in different satellite channels.
From Eid-ul-Fitr, Badhon’s performed a TV commercial of Cocola Noodles is being aired in different channels which was directed by Kazi Iliash Kollol.
