Badhan, a voluntary blood donor organisation, has set up a blood transfusion center at Dhaka University (DU) Medical Center on the campus.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the blood transfusion center on the first floor of the DU medical center on the 6th instant, said a DU press release.
DU Pro-VC Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Badhan central President Farizul Islam, General Secretary Imran Ali Imon, Badhan Foundation Chairman Shahidul Islam Ripan and other central leaders were present at the inaugural ceremony, among others.
Earlier, Badhan Foundation donated Taka 35 lakh in two phases for setting up the ‘Badhan Blood Transfusion Center’ at DU Medical Center.
