A tribunal on Sunday has sentenced two persons to life imprisonment and three persons to seven years imprisonment with fine in Anti Corruption case of 96200 sacks of fertilizer worth Tk 23 cr in BADC Warehouse i,Bhairab of , Kishoreganj.
The Special Judge Court in Mymensing Special Judge (District Judge) Md. Shahadat Hossain has given this order on Sunday afternoon.
Ahad Ali, Former, Joint Director of BADC ( fertiliser) in Kishoreganj and Assistant Director (AD) of Bhairab BADC (Fertiliser) Rezaul Karim have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
The persons sentenced to seven years in this case are the son of deceased Fazlu Mia of Hajipur Nayapara of Narsingdi. Liton Roy son of deceased Chunilal Roy of Harishul Haque, Kishoreganj Ashtagram Bangalpara and Belabor of Narsingdi. Sarwarul Alam Sabuj, son of Mojibur Rahman Khan.
