Babor wants to return to acting again

Babor was once one of the hot favourite villains in the film industry. In the silver screen, his acting was appreciated and impressed to many viewers in hundreds films. That Babor is absolutely absent from the industry for last 12 years. Due to his physical illness he was absent from acting in the film industry. He wants to return to acting now.
While talking in this regard Babor told this correspondent, “Film industry has introduced me as Babor to all. With the love and affections from the viewers I am still alive. I want to return to them again. For this reason, who are engaged with filmmaking now I am requesting them to cast me in their films.”
Babor last acted before 12 years in Dipjal’s film Tero Gunda Ek Panda. Born on February 5, 1952 in Dhaka’s Gendaria area Babor’s hometown is in Comilla. While studying in Tejgaon College he first got the opportunity to act as a hero in Amzad Hossain’s a film titled Banglar Mukh.
But he debuted his career as a villain by Razzak’s produced film Rongbaj, directed by Zahirul Haque.
Later he acted in more than 300 films including Dilip Biswas’ Ashami, Shamsuddin Togor’s Banjaran, Darashiko’s Daku Dorbesh and Gypsy Sardar, etc. His produced only film was Dagi, directed by late Nur Hossain Bolai, and only directed film is Doyaban. During his childhood Babor also performed as staff artiste in Betar. Between 1968 and 1970 he acted as hero in Television. He also got BACHSHAS award to make play Ghor Jamai. Babor has one daughter Mona and a son Toni.
