Local legislator and the Secretary General of Jatiya Party Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu visited tidal submerged areas of Bakalia thana area in city on Wednesday .
Bakalia thana Officer incharge Md. Mohsin and local AL leaders accompanied him during the visit. During the visit, legislator went to Miakhan Nagar, Isakharpol, Bazraghona, Chairmangata, Waizerpara , Kalamia Bazar areas. He went round different lanes and bylanes of the area. He also gave patient hearing of the local people of their grievances during tidal surge during high tide in sea and gave assurance to get rid of their grievances with the consultation of the local administrations.
Later, Bablu visited the fire affected three families in Chairmangata and gave donations of Tk.5 thousands to each family. He also assured the fire victims to donate rice and CI sheets very shortly.
