Azad-Salwa’s debut movie Rajkonnya

AK Azad is hailed from Chak Durga village of Fapore union of Bogura. On the other hand, Miss Bangladesh famed Salwa is hailed from Beanibazar of Sylhet. Salwa and Azad are going to work in a movie as pair for the first time. They have already confirmed to work in Raju Chowdhury’s movie Rajkonnya. Shooting of the movie will kick off on March 20 in different locations in Sylhet. Salwa will play the title role in the movie.
It will be first movie for Salwa and Azad. For this reason, they are very much excited to work in this movie. After becoming champion of Yami Fair & Handsome in 2014, younger son of Abdul Baset and Marzina Begum Azad has been trying to debut his career in big screen. After five years, his dream comes into true for director Raju Chowdhury.
Azad said, “Raju Bhai is a commercially successful film director. It is really a great achievement for me to work under his direction. Salwa is with me. I hope it will become a nice movie at all. Now I am concentrating on this movie.” On the other hand, Salwa is very much excited to inform about her shooting spot, Sylhet as it is her hometown. She said, “I give thanks to Raju to give me such a great opportunity to work in his movie. It is my hometown so I am really excited in this regard. I believe overall it will become a good work. In fact, after contact signing I am getting positive response from all.” Azad acted first TV play was Arun Chowdhury’s Ei Bari Amader.
Salwa earlier performed as model in Tahsan’s a song titled Mon Karigor. Salwa is daughter of Md Rafiqul Islam who is working in as Joint Secretary at Planning Ministry. Shahini Akhter Chowdhury is her mother. She is youngest daughter of them.
