A responsible knock by Marshal Ayub and well supported by Enamul Haque saw Victoria Sporting Club win to beat Kalabagan Cricket Academy by 48 runs in their 11th round match of Walton Refrigerator Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) held on Monday at the BKSP ground in Savar.
The match was reduced to 47 over-a-sides to fog on the ground. Batting first after winning the toss, Victoria Sporting Club, rode on Marshal Ayub’s responsible knock of 54-run, scored a competitive total of 236 for 6 from their allotted 47 overs.
Chasing a winning target of 237 runs set by Victoria, Kalabagan were dismissed at 189 in 44 overs.
Marshal Ayub was adjudged the player of the match for his brilliant batting performance in the match.
