Awami League nominee for Chattogram-8 Constituency Moslemuddin Ahmed submitted nomination paper for by-poll before the Chattogram Zonal Election Office yesterday morning . During the submission of nomination paper, among others, President of North District AL President MA Salam, General Secretary of South District Unit Mofizur Rahman, former CDA Chairman Abdus Salam, Organizing Secretary of City Unit Noman al Mahmud, South District Chhatra League President SM Borhanuddin were present at EC office in the Port City . Following the death of lawmaker Moinuddin Khan Badal , this parliamentary seat fall vacant and the by-poll is scheduled to be held in next month.
