The accident took place at School Road No. 9, Satberg area of Budhanti UP in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
He was identified as Billal Mia, 35, son of late Siraj Ali of Halayapara village in Adai UP of Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj district.

A man named Sameer called him and informed him about the incident. Upon receiving the news, he rushed to the spot on Satberg School Road
One of the legs of the autorickshaw was lying dead on the road in a bloody state and a sharp knife was lying near the back seat of the autorickshaw, his body was bleeding from the sharp knife blow.
According to the locals, Billal was an innocent motorist and used to drive his own autorickshaw.

Other dignitaries, including those present at the scene, demanded exemplary punishment by finding the real culprits subject to proper investigation.
In this regard, Bijoynagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mirza Md. Hasan confirmed the incident and said that the driver had a sharp knife wound on his body.
It is not known who caused the incident, so no one was arrested. The body was recovered and sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Members of the police intelligence agency are working in the field to find the real culprit.
