Dr Nicholas Farrelly, Research Fellow of Australian National University, Australia called on acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University (DU) Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad on Tuesday at the latter’s office of the university. Dr Md Abdul Aziz, Prof of Chemistry Department of Dhaka University, was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes by the university of Dhaka and Australian National University. They also discussed about possibilities of exchange of teachers, students and researchers between the two universities.
The acting VC thanked the guest for his visit to and keen interest in academic activities of Dhaka University.
