An idea workshop for mobile game and application, organized at the initiative of ICT Department of Bangladesh government was held on Sunday at the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) in the city.
Prof Dr AMM Shafiullah, Vice-Chancellor, AUST was present as the chief guest at the workshop, which was conducted by the consultants of the ICT Department. The programme was also addressed by Prof Dr Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer, Prof Dr Abdur Rahim Mollah, Dean, Engineering Faculty, Prof Dr Shahidur Rahman, Head of the CSE Department of AUST spoke on the occasion, among others.
The government under its Skill Development for Mobile Games and Applications Project has set up 38 sophisticated laboratories throughout the country, including one at AUST.
The government pursues the goal of tapping the billion dollar global market of mobile game and application through creating skilled manpower.
