A delegation of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here yesterday.
During the meeting, the delegation, led by Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AUST Kazi Rafiqul Alam, apprised the President of the academic activities of the university and informed him that steps have been taken to build the university’s new campus in Ashulia, President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
They also informed the President that AUST is continuously working to open new departments maintaining consistence with the ICT.
Abdul Hamid advised the delegation to take up time-befitting curriculum and increase the standard of education so that the students could face the global challenge properly.
