Australia notched up a mammoth total of 381 for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs against Bangladesh in their crucial match of the ICC World Cup Cricket at Nottingham in England on Thursday.
In reply, Bangladesh scored 234 for the loss of four wickets in 30 overs, till filing this report.
Tamim Iqbal notched up a splendid 62. His 74-ball innings was laced with six fours. Tamim reached his 47th ODI fifty-run landmark using 65 balls with five fours.
Shakib Al Hasan hit a run-a-ball 41 including four fours.
Mushfiqur Rahim was on 34, while Mahmudullah was on one before submitting this report.
Mitchell Starc, Stoinis and Adam Zampa took one wicket apiece.
Earlier, David Warner hit a marvelous 166. His 147-ball innings was ornamented with 14 fours and five sixes.
Usman Khawaja was deprived from a century for just 11 runs. He hit 89. His 72-ball innings was laced with 10 fours.
Aarin Finch hit a captain’s knock of 53. His 51-ball knock had five fours and two sixes.
Glenn Maxwell made 32 from 10 balls featuring three sixes and two fours. Occasional bowler Soumya Sarkar shone with the cherry. He claimed three wickets instead of 58 runs.
Laft-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman got one wicket conceding 69 runs.
