State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak said the gruesome killings that took place on August 15, 1975, in which the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members lost their lives, is the scurrilous chapter of world history.
“Killers not only killed Bangabandhu and most of his family members, they also killed the spirit of War of Liberation and the inspiration of all the freedom-loving people of the world,” the State Minister said.
Palak came up with the observations while addressing a discussion and doa mahfil organized by ICT Division at the auditorium of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) at capital’s Agargaon on August 16.
Presided over by ICT Secretary Subir Kishore Choudhury, the programme was addressed by Controller of Office of Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) Abul Mansur Mohammad Sharf Uddin, director general of Department of ICT Banamali Bhowmick and acting managing director of High tech Park Authority Sushanta Kumar Saha, among others.
