Ekushey Award winning noted actor, storywriter and director ATM Shamsuzzaman was hospitalised for many days due to illness. In the beginning of this year, he returned to his Sutrapur’s residence from hospital. He is passing days there.
Due to Corona pandemic, he did not come out from home. Nobody was allowed to enter his residence during this time. Now Corona situation is improving. Recently celebrity film couple Moushumi and Omar Sani went to this veteran actor’s residence. They passed time there with the actor. ATM Shamsuzzaman became overwhelmed to get Moushumi and Omar Sani.
While talking in this regard the actor said, “I love Moushumi and Sani as my children. When I was in hospital they came to me. They have love and respect to me. I am very much delighted to see them.”
“Respected ATM Shamsuzzaman is pride of our film industry. He is like a banyan tree. We are lucky because he remains among us. We passed some times with him and also took part in open discussion with him. We also talked about film and politics with him. He was delighted to see us,” said Moushumi after returning from the actor’s residence.
