Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayoral candidate Md Atiqul Islam committed that if elected he will work as per expectations of the city residents in future with his past nine-month experience as a mayor.
“I will fulfill the expectations of the DNCC people with my experience which I gathered in past nine months (as mayor),” he said this on Thursday while addressing a view-exchange meeting with Awami Matshyajibi League in city’s Banani area.”Exercise is needed for any kind of game so that one can warm up. It is happened to me during the period when I served myself as a city mayor… This time I’ll fulfill people’s desire if elected in the upcoming mayoral election.” said Atiqul.
As the mayoral candidate of Awami League, he urged all to support him during the city corporation election which will be held on January 30. With Awami Matshyajibi League President Mohammad Saidur Rahman in the chair, the meeting was attended, among others, by leaders of Matshyajibi League including its Executive President Saiful Alam Manik.
