A Legal Aid and Human Rights Organisation Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) strongly condemned the attack on Barrister Mainul Hosein by the ruling party activists when he was being produced in a Rangpur court on Sunday.
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) says it in a press release signed by its Executive Director Shipa Hafiza.
In a statement, Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) said, when Barrister Mainul Hosein was being taken into Rangpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Court with police protection, some unruly Awami League, Jubo League, Mohila League and Chhatra League activists attacked and physically assaulted him, which is regrettable and unacceptable.
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) demanded arrest of the culprits and legal action against them.
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) also urged the high command of the Awami League to control these arrogant supporters of the party.
