A two-day ‘Asian Theatre Summit-2017’ will begin at National Theatre Hall of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the city on Friday.
Asian Regional Center (ARC) of International Theatre Association (ITA), Shilpakala Academy and People’s Theatre Association (PTA) are jointly organizing the event with the assistance of Cultural Affairs Ministry, said a press release here today.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will inaugurate the summit as chief guest at 10 am with Shilpakala Academy Director General and ITA Asian Regional President Liaquat Ali Lucky in the chair.
The function will include seminars, folk songs, national and international dramas and child dance and drams. The summit will conclude on May 6.
