Asian School Chess & Karate Compt Warsia of South Point School bags gold, Mrinmoy achieves gold

Warsia Khushbu, the student of South Point School and College gained the gold medal in the Asian School Chess Competition, while her schoolmate Mrinmoy Roy gained gold medal in the International Karate (Kata) Contest recently.
Due to Covid-19 situation, ‘Asian School Chess Competition’ and ‘International Karate (Kata) Contest-2021’ were held in online. In Chess Contest, Warsia Khushbu, the student of English Medium of South Point School and College of Bangladesh scored eight points in total and achieved the gold medal as unbeaten champion.
A total of 361 students from different schools from Asia Continent participated in girls’ category.
Mrinmoy Roy of South Point School and College participated in the ‘International Karate (Kata) Contest’, arranged by the ‘World Martial Art Development’. His schoolmate Anjuman Haque clinched the silver medal and Deep Roy and Munjerin Rahman earned the bronze medal.
