Asia pharma export fair 2015 ends

The three-day long Asia Pharma Export Fair 2015, ended on Saturday with huge turn out of visitors at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city.
About 500 stalls from various countries were set up in the fair where latest products and innovations were displayed to an expert audience. Most visitors were employees of important chemical and pharmaceutical plants and businessmen interested to do business for new manufacturing plants or to upgrade their existing plants.
Asia Pharma Export aimed at bringing together world renowned companies as well as newly launched companies on one platform. It was an invitation to all those who wanted to seize this opportunity to further galvanize their position or to take share of this lucrative market.
It may be mentioned here that Asia Pharma Export is an international trade fair for the South Asian pharmaceutical industry and takes place in Dhaka every year.
Profile for exhibits include Plant & Equipment for Pharma Production, Packaging Machinery & Materials, Lab Equipment, Analytical Instruments, Lab ware, Process Control & Instrumentation, Effluent Treatment and Waste Management Systems, Refrigeration, Cold Rooms, Clean Rooms, Bulk Drugs, Drug Intermediates, Excipients, Additives, Technical Books & Journals, Active Ingredients, Chemicals, Contract manufacturing ingredients, Packaging, Reagents, QC laboratory services, Test tubes, etc. The Industry sectors covered were Laboratory Technology, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plants, etc.
Among the visitors were Saurabh Bhatt, Executive Operations at Sheer Consultancy, Ahmedabad, India ; Alexandra Yerkin, Marketing Manager at Pharma Planet, Ukraine, Ukraine; Iftekarul Alam Bhuiyan, Executive, Project Division at Khan and Bhuiyans, Bangladesh; Arefin Tamim, Senior Client Service Executive at Rectangle Communications Limited, Bangladesh ; Rajib Kumar Baishnab, Executive, Global Regulatory Affairs Limited, at Square Pharmaceuticals, Limited, Bangladesh.
One stall member of Remi Lab Ltd., commented to The New Nation correspondent there was a huge turnout of visitors from day one and an overwhelming success of Asia Pharma Expo for Remi Lab World, India. Other companies also expressed positive views at the end of day 3 to The New Nation correspondent that they were satisfied with the outcome of the fair and the amount of business they will be getting. Every day the fair opened at 10:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm.
