ASEAN, South Asia Regional CEO of StanChart visits Bangladesh

Judy Hsu, Regional CEO, ASEAN and South Asia of Standard Chartered Bank, recently arrived in Dhaka for her first official visit to the country. Judy was also accompanied by Rosalind Ng, Regional Chief Operating Officer, ASEAN and South Asia of the bank.
Over a two-day in the city visit, Judy met regulators, clients and important stakeholders of the bank. The key agenda for the visit was to deepen the bank’s strategic partnership with both the public and private sectors, and help drive commerce and prosperity for Bangladesh, said a press release.

Judy joined Standard Chartered in December 2009 as the Global Head of Wealth Management and led the strategic advancement of the Bank’s wealth management business. Prior to this, Judy spent 18 years at Citibank where she held various leadership roles in its Consumer Banking Business in Asia. Judy was appointed CEO Singapore in October 2015 and was appointed CEO Singapore and ASEAN Markets (Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Rep Offices) in October 2017. From June 1 2018, she assumed the role of Regional CEO, ASEAN & South Asia.
