With the media correspondents responsible to gather news of Passport and Immigration Department, the journalists’ organisation “Passport and Immigration Reporters Forum (PIRF)” have starts its journey.
A 17-member committee with Asaduzzaman of Bhorer Kagoj and Ataur Rahman of Daily Samakal as President and Secretary respectively has been formed in a meeting held at the office of Crime Reporters’ Association of Bangladesh in the capital’s Segunbagicha on Friday.
The other members of the committee are Jamiul Ahsan Sipu of Ittefaq and Ruhul Amin Tuhin of RTV as Vice-Presidents, Ali Azam of Bangladesh Pratidin and Ahmed Faisal of Boisakhi TV as Joint Secretary, Nihal Hasnain of Banik Barta as Organising Secretary, Uzzal Jisan of Sarabangla.net as treasurer, Jamil Khan of The Daily Star as international Affair Secretary, Amanur Rahman Roney of Banglatribune.com as Publicity Secretary, Fazlur Rahman of Bhorer Dak as office secretary.
