Entertainment Report :
Aruna Biswas is known to all as an actress. During school and college lives, she was not only expert in dancing but also in rendering song. She first learnt the song Dhana Dhanya Pushpe Bhora from her father Amalendu Biswas. Later, she learned music from Mrinmoy Das Gupta. For this reason, she has always fascination about music. In the journey of life she once became a film actress. But when she gets the opportunity in home arranged programmes she delightfully
renders songs. Few days ago, Aruna launched a YouTube channel. For that channel, she
rendered a Tagore song titled Agun-er poroshmoni chhonwao prane. While rendering the song she kept in mind two things: she selected the National Mourning Day to release her first rendered song and she also selected the song to keep in mind names of two persons – Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and her father Amalendu Biswas. While talking in this regard Aruna Biswas said, “Bangabandhu is our Agun-er Poroshmoni. To fulfil his dreams, her daughter our Prime Minister is working a lot. My father Amalendu Biswas was also Agun-er Poroshmoni to our family.
I have built up myself with my father’s ideology. I am trying to fulfil his dreams. This song, under music arrangement by Amit Chatterjee, will be released on her YouTube channel soon.” Aruna also lent her voice for play-back song in Chashi Nazrul Islam’s movie Hangor Nodi Grenade under Sheikh Sadi Khan’s music composition. Its lyrics were written by Munshi Wadud. But later this song did not take place in the film. When Aruna was student of Class-VIII at Bharateswari Homes she stood first position to render the song Dariye achho tumi, Aruna also said.
