Bangladesh Army of Savar region provided free vaccination and treatment to livestock and poultries in Dhamrai area.
Under the management of military farm Savar, the army operated free treatment and vaccination campaign for livestock and poultries in the area during their summer season on Kusura Abbas Ali High School premises in Dhamrai on Thursday, said an ISPR release.
Around 1490 cattles, 135 goats, 2140 poultry flocks were administered vaccination and treatment during the day-long medical camp.
Besides, the military team also provided consultation on symptoms and prevention of the livestock diseases including farm management, cattle fattening, fodder cultivation and cattle rearing.
Army officials of Savar area, local lawmaker, local upazila livestock officials and local school teachers, among others, were present.
Earlier, Bangladesh Army also provided free treatment and vaccination to livestock and poultry at Kaliakoir in Gazipur on July 18.
