Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an arms trader along with a foreign made pistol from Sadipur border area in Benapole Port police station on Thursday morning. The arrestee was identified as Abdus Salam 23 son of Mohammad Ali of the Village. Lt Col Ariful Haque, commanding officer, 49 Boder guard Battalion said Tipped off a team of BGB-49 battalion conducted a drive in the area around 9.00 am and arrested Abdus Salam along with a foreign made pistol from possession. He was the Arms trader BGB CO added. BGB handed him over to Benapole port police station with Pistol. A case was filed in this connection.
