Arjumand Ara Bokul writes Eid play

 Hailed from Bogra 20 years ago popular TV actress Arjumand Ara Bokul was enlisted as an actress in Bangladesh Television (BTV). On that year she first acted in a play titled Hishab Nikash produced by Faridur Rahman. From that time to till now she acted in many plays, telefilms and TV serials.
Though she is an actress but Bokul has a habit of writing. As a part of its continuation, though she wrote several TV plays but did not mention her name in those plays as a playwright. But few years ago, her written a comedy play titled Quick Marriage directed by Al Hazen was highly appreciated by the viewers.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Bokul wrote a comedy based on Facebook titled Facebook-e Bashor to entertain the viewers. Shahin will give its direction. Shooting of the play will start from next month.
While talking about the play Bokul told this correspondent, “Many incidents are taking place on Facebook now. Not only youth but also old persons are also using Facebook changing their photographs and making affair. To keep in mind this thing, this play has been written and there is a message for the Facebook users. If the play would make properly viewers will enjoy it, I believe.”
Meanwhile, Bokul has started acting in Ferdous Hasan Rana’s new daily soap titled Ek Pa Du Pa recently. Dr Ezaz is acting against her in the daily soap. The role of Bokul is Shahi. It will be aired on Nagorik TV soon.
Therefore, Bokul acted two serials – Palki and Tui Ke Aamar? – are being aired on Dipto TV and Asian TV now. Bokul’s daughter Upoma has already become engaged with acting in media.
