Raihan Rafi directed his last movie titled Poran released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha is still going house full in cinema halls. The director’s much-awaited movie titled Noor starring National Film Award winning actor Arifin Shuvoo and Miss World Bangladesh winner Jannatul Ferdous Oishee to have a theatrical release as well, said a press release.
Last month the movie was submitted to the Censor Board but did not get clearance. The board blocked the movie due to some technical glitches and one of the scenes from the movie is asked to be corrected and resubmitted with new editing and sound design to the board. While talking in this regard, director Raihan Rafi said, “The Censor Board did ask for some corrections in the movie Noor in but officially we did not receive any papers yet. However, from August 7 there were rumours that the OTT platform Binge App has bought all the rights of the movie, Noor for half a crore and it has been sold by the production company Shapla Media.”
Arifin Shuvoo and Oishee have paired up for the second time in Noor. Earlier, the duo worked together in the movie titled Mission Extreme directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed, which was commercially a huge success.
Apart from acting in the lead role, Shuvoo is also serving as the executive producer of this movie.
