Archers leave for Germany

A 12-member Bangladesh Archery team left the capital for Germany Saturday early morning to participate in the “Archery World Cup Stage-4” to be held in Berlin from July 16-22.
Bangladesh team consists of six men and two women archers will compete in seven recurve and compound competitions—recurve men’s team, recurve mixed team, recurve men’s singles, recurve women’s singles, compound mixed team, compound men’s singles and compound women’s singles.
Members of Bangladesh team: Players- M Rumman Shana, Imdadul Haque Milon, M Tamimul Islam, Ibrahim Sheikh Rezwan and Nasrin Akter (Recurve Division), M Abul Kashem Mamun, Ashim Kumar Das, Bonnya Akhter (Compound Division).
Officials: Mohammad Anisur Rahman (Manager), Kazi Rafid Ibne Razib (Assistant Manager), Martin Fedric (Head Coach), Mohammad Ziaul Haque (Assistant Coach).
Bangladesh’s famed archer M Rumman Shana, now in Switzerland with Olympic Solidarity scholarship, will join the team from Switzerland.
Bangladesh team will return home July 23.
