Bangladeshi archer Diya Siddiqui has been tested positive for Covid-19 after reaching to the USA to participate in the World Archery Championship scheduled to begin on Tuesday in Youngstown. Diya is supposed to participate in the Women’s individual recurve event this evening. Apart from Diya, the other five archers of the Bangladesh team also went through Covid-19 test and all of their results came negative. They five archers are scheduled to participate in the qualification rounds of the championship this evening. Bangladesh’s archer Asim Kumar Das will participate in the compound event while ace archer Ruman Shana, Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Ram Krishno Saha and Beauty Ray will compete in the recurve single event.
