Arambagh Krira Sangha made a good start in the Walton Federation Cup Football beating Brothers Union by two goals to nil in their first group match at the country’s prime venue Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
The pre-lemon session saw 1-0 lead for the Motijheel-based out-fit.
Arambagh’s Nigerian recruit Chizoba Christopher put his team ahead in the 44th minute of the game. After the interval, Murad Hossain confirmed their victory in the 90th minute of the clash.
Arambagh’s Indian Coach Subrata Bhattacharya said, ” I watched the first match of Arambagh Krira Sangha. I am happy to earn the victory. But I have to work with my boys before the Bangladesh Premier League. I hope that the problem will be solved.”
