Anupama Mukti is basically a singer of modern song. She rendered modern songs in most of the time in different stage shows in and outside the country and TV channels. Now she is going to present herself in new way. For the first time, she rendered six folk songs in a programme for RTV. Recording of the programme was done at RTV’s Bengal Studio recently.
While talking in this regard Anupama Mukti told this correspondent, “I give thanks to RTV to give me a chance to do an experimental work. It was really a challenging matter for me because I usually render modern songs. Therefore, I tried to do fusion in the experimental works. Under the coordination of Titon Folk Station will be aired on RTV at 11:20pm on August 24.”
