Bangladesh Ansar & VDP will face Bangladesh Police in the final of the Bangabandhu Federation Cup Handball (Men’s) Competition at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium today. The match begins at 11.30am.
In the first phase, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP won all the three matches to storm into the final.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Police got two wins out of three matches to reach the final.
A total of four teams are taking part in the handball competition. They are: Bangladesh Ansar, Bangladesh Police, Bandarban District Sports Association and Team Handball, Dhaka. Bangladesh Handball Federation has arranged the handball meet with the financial assistance of Orient Food Company.
The prize-giving ceremony will be held tomorrow. State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP, will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Managing Director and Chairman of Orient Food Company Mahbubuzzaman will be with him as the special guest.
