Another train crash victim dies at DMCH

Another man, who suffered injuries as a Dhaka-bound commuter train from Narayanganj hit a passenger bus at TT Para level-crossing near Kamalapur Railway Station on Tuesday night, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Wednesday, raising the death toll to 4.
The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 18, a rickshaw puller and son of
 Shukur Ali of Muklima in Islampur of Jamalpur district.
Al Amin died at Ward No.101 of DMCH at around 3:00am, DMCH police camp sources said.
The accident took place around at 10:30pm on Tuesday when a bus of ‘Balaka Paribahan’ was hit by the train, leaving at least two people killed on the spot and injuring 13 others, including Al Amin.
The inured were admitted to DMCH where doctors declared one Nazmus Sadat Nazu dead.
Al Amin was shifted to National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) from DMCH with his one hand severed in the accident. Later, he was again brought back to DMCH in critical condition.
