Another person who received burn injuries in a boiler explosion at a tyre factory at Pubail in Gazipur on Saturday died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Tuesday.
Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police outpost said, Mohammad Kamal, 45, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital burn unit with 95 per cent burn injures, succumbed to the injuries at about 4:15 am.
With the death of Kamal, the death toll from the incident has risen to 8.
Earlier another burn victim Abdul Kader, 50, died at DMCH early Sunday.
Six people were burned to death and 10 others suffered injuries as a fire broke out after a boiler exploded at the tyre factory at Pubail in Gazipur on Statuary.
