Another Magura arson victim dies at DMCH

Another victim of the arson attack on a sand-laden truck at Moghirdhal on the Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila of Magura district died at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning, taking the death toll from the incident to five.
The deceased was identified as Imran Molla,25, son of Siraj Molla, a resident of Maligram village in Sadar upazila of Magura district.
Nayek Mojammel, in-charge of DMCH police camp, said Imran who had received 60 percent burn injuries in the incident succumbed to his wounds at the hospital burn unit at about 6:00 am.
Earlier, Shakil Mollah, 20, Rowshan Ali Biswas,35, and Matin Biswas, 25, who suffered burn injures in the
same incident, died on March 22. Yadul, who was burnt in the same incident, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital burn unit on March 25.
Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb attack on a sand-laden truck at Moghirdhal on the Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila of Magura district at about 8:00 pm on March 21, leaving eight workers and the truck driver and his helper burnt. All the five deceased were among the sand labourers on the burnt truck.
