Another dead body recovered from sunken ship

Another dead body of 5 missing staff of the balk-head cargo ship MV Fardina-1 that sank in the Pashur channel of Mongla Sea Port 32 days ago (at the night of November 15) was recovered from the cooking room of the ship on Friday noon by the divers. The deceased was identified as Zihad (21), cook of the ship and son of one Alam Hawladar hails from Uttar Bhitabari area under Bhandaria Upazila in Pirojpur district. Md. Monirul Islam, Officer-in-charge of Mongla PS told, divers who are engaged in salvaging work of the cargo ship sank in the harbour area of the Port recoverd the decomposed dead body from the interior of the cargo. As a resuilt, dead bodies of 4 missimg sailors were recovered so far. One sailr is still missing. It may be mentioned here that while the ill-fated cargo Ship just left the jetty No.9 after loading 600 hundred tones coal from a foreign mother vessel for Dhaka it was collided with another foreign mother vessel and sank in the Pashur channel at the night (at about 10 pm) of November 15 along with 7 staff (sailors). 2 of them swam to the shore.
