Another burnt in Magura arson attack dies at DMCH

Another victim of the arson attack on a sand-laden truck at Moghirdhal on the Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila of Magura district died at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning, taking the death from the incident to four. The deceased was identified as Yadul,40. Sub-inspector Sentu of the DMCH police camp said Yadul who had received 60 percent burn injures in the incident succumbed to his wounds at the hospital burn unit at about 9:40am. Earlier, Shakil Mollah, 20, Rowshan Ali Biswas,35, and Matin Biswas, 25, who suffered burn injures in the same incident, died on March 22. Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb attack on a sand-laden truck at Moghirdhal on the Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila of Magura district at about 8:00 pm on March 22, leaving eight workers and the truck driver and his helper burnt. — Dhaka, Mar 25 (UNB)
