A Bangladeshi man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in South Africa recently.
The deceased Firoz Miah alias Shimul, 30, son of Humayun Kabir in Mirzapur, was brought back home and buried on Friday.
Shimul was a cosmetics trader in Johannesburg said his family members.
“He was doing business in South Africa for the last 10 years. Criminals shot Shimul and snatched away Tk Six lakh from him on April 23,” his family members also said.
Shimul was buried at the graveyard of the village after a Namaj-e-Janaza at his village around 10:00am on Friday morning.
