The Annual Sports Competition of Shamsunnahar Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held at the Central Playground of DU on Tuesday.
Sadia Islam Muna, a third year student of Philosophy Department emerged as the champion of the sports meet, while Ifrat, a third year student of Marketing Department and Sultana, a fourth year student of Philosophy Department became joint runners-up of the sports competition.
After the competition, Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed the prizes among the winners.
Provost of Shamsunnahar Hall Professor Dr Supriya Saha presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
Earlier, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin inaugurated the sports competition.
