The Annual sports competition-2016 of Gono Bishwabidyalay began on Saturday. Prof Mesbahuddin Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor of Gono Bishwabidyalay inaugurated the two-day long competition by flying balloons on its own playground.
Delower Hossain, Registrar of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Prof Dr. Ashraf Ul Karim Khan, Dean, Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences, Dr. Hasin Anupama Azhari, Dean, Faculty of Physical and mathematical Sciences, Prof Mahmud Shah Qureshi, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Mir Murtoza Ali, Controller of Exam, Md. Rafiqul Alam, President of Sports Committee were present in the inaugural ceremony.
A total of seven events which divided into male and female groups were held in the first day. In the second day a total of five events would be hold. Teachers and officers could be participated in their special events. Md. Habib Uddin and Ferdosi Akther Bonna , sports trainer of Gono Bishwabidyalay conducted the sports.
