The two-day long ‘Annual Banking Conference-2015’ will be held on November 22 at the auditorium of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) in the city.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman will be the chief guest of the inauural session of the conference.
Dr. Toufiq Ahmed Choudhury, Director General of BIBM, Prof. Ahsan Habib, Chairman of Organising Committee will present the inaugural session.
In the first day of the conference two plenary sessions will be held. The first plenary session will discuss on macro and financial stability. The second session will discuss on the human resource management and information and communication technology in banks.
Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor SK Sur Chowdhury will present the concluding remarks of the first day of the conference.
The two more plenary sessions will be held in the second and last day of the conference.
Khondoker Ibrahim Khaled, Former Deputy Governor of the central bank will present a keynote paper in the opening of the second day.
The first plenary session is about financial inclusion and sustainable banking. The session is about corporate governance and risk managements in banks.
