The annual award ceremony of the non-political organization Putul Foundation was held at Ramgarh in Khagrachhari district on Wednesday (December 15). Retired District Education Officer Rameshwar Shil, convener of the Putul Foundation’s Merit Program, presided over the function at Ramgarh Government High School.
Associate Professor Dr. Nikhil Chandra Nath, Founder of Putul Foundation gave welcome speech on the occasion. Among others, former member of Khagrachhari Hill District Council Mongpru Chowdhury, Associate Professor of Ramgarh Government College Mansajai Marma, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Abu Kauser, Headmaster of Ramgarh Government High School Md. Abdul Quader spoke. Journalist Md. Nizam Uddin Lavlu was present on the occasion. Among others, prominent gynecologist Assistant Professor Meena Devi, Assistant Teacher of Girls High School and journalist Md. Bahar Uddin were present.
At the end of the seminar, the winners of the speech competition organized by Putul Foundation were given crests and books and various books of Bangla Academy were given as gifts by the Foundation for the libraries of Ramgarh Government High School, Girls High School and Chowdhurypara High School.
